Misha has been at Blake for ten years and retains his enthusiasm and energy for architecture that supports and uplifts. Trained as a Passivhaus designer, he brings expertise in detailing and in improving the quality of the environment in our buildings — reflecting the practice's commitment to sustainable design as members of the Green Register. He takes great pleasure in the unseen detail which improves a client's quality of life every day.
Misha is working on a listed office for a manufacturer in a conservation area in Buckinghamshire. The carefully considered doubling of the office area allows the business to remain rooted in its local community.
At home, Misha spends time playing with Lego and Meccano with his boy, which reminds him that experimentation can lead to incredible discoveries. Whilst modest about it, he has remodelled his own home and created a beautiful garden.
