Recently, more and more clients have been choosing to add swimming pools and pool houses to enhance their property. Our team have a wealth of experience in pools and pool houses, whether indoor or outdoor, contemporary or traditional, . Each project we undertake has its own individual style and look.
Dutch Barn
The design for this Dutch Barn has been awarded planning and we are currently producing a detailed tender document for construction stage. The barn is going to be converted into a comtemporary leisure space where the whole family can meet together, socialise and eat. The plan is to have an open plan first floor that will lead out onto the pool deck with views out to the surrounding countryside.
Walled Garden
This more traditional project is at planning stage and is on a more challenging site, since the surroundings date back to the 17th century. The existing house, which was built in the walled garden between 1986-88, is of Georgian syle and is constructed from traditional and local palette of materials. The pool house for this therefore has been designed with a more traditional dovecote vernacular in line with its context.
Modern Pool House
We have proposed a design for this super modern pool house which includes a free flowing glulam roof structure with a large glass frontage. The main pool building will also be half-submerged in to a bank at the rear of the site in order to situate it into the context and reduce its overall height.
